I had a tutorial on the ladder bracelet using wire and showed the how to steps with pictures. I want to make it easier and this time did a video, I learned a lot by watching other people’s video. This style is great for the one inch tube paper beads or 3/4 inch paper beads you have. It displays your nice beads well on your wrist.

You know what they say about what happened in Vegas, well what happened at the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show gets to be shared and remembered. I met so many nice people who are passionate about their crafts, got to try new products and most importantly spread the word that paper beads are not just for kids anymore. Images speak louder than words right?
Don’t you think this is nice to have for your shop or your home? I would like to make this in recycled card board and upcycled embellishments what do you think?

Paula, was kind enough to pause for a picture wearing her eclectic necklace made out of recycled stuff!

Kayla painted a t-shirt obviously for somebody else, look how big it is!

Can you believe this jacket is made out of plastic bags?

I love this scarf made out of pom poms.

What a cool way to make use of egg cartons, I have a stack of them just waiting to be made into something. These are made out of colorful wire from a company called Twisteez wire, for more ideas visit their website twisteezwire.com.

I met these two lovely girls Lauren and McCall of Make It My Own, they were very excited about the paper bead idea, Lauren is wearing our paper bead necklace and Mc Call has the paper bead ring.

Here’s Kayla wearing her paper bead bib, she got lots of compliments!

I hope I have shared with you something fun and inspirational.
Read MoreI shared with you Cindy’s creation from an earlier post. I got email requests for a tutorial, so here it is. The materials are 6mm firepolish crystals in amethyst color. I chose the amethyst color because it picks up the lavender stripes in the small round paper beads we used for this project.

Kayla demonstrates how to make this bracelet.
Part 2

I hope you will have fun with this tutorial.
Read MoreI am fortunate to have two Kaylas help with with design and ideas for our up coming online paper bead jewelry shop. She came up with a very nice yet ethnic necklace design using paper beads. However, the best part is… It is a design for MEN!

She made this necklace for her boyfriend, Glenn as a present for his birthday. We all know that making jewelry for men can be a little tricky, but the best advice is, keep it simple…
And that is exactly what she did.
The materials Kayla used were: 4mm x-small round paper beads and a nice strand of saucer shaped wood beads. Not only is this necklace easy to make but the materials are very inexpensive.

All she did was strand the beads, starting with a paper beads, then adding a wood bead, and countinued this pattern to her diesired length. Easy as that.

The finished product came out very nice and masculine. It also has a nice variety of colors from the paper beads. I recommend this design to anyone out there who wants to make a nice piece of jewelry for their husband, boyfriend, sons or any other special boy in their life.

I would like you to take a peek at what is on display on our table at the Craft and Hobby Association Show. I have so much to share on what went on at the trade show, once I have the time to put things together. Well, here’s some of our paper bead jewelry that drew attention and admiration from our visitors.
