Every now and then I get emails from all over the world sharing with me their love for paper beads. This is truly a hobby befitting ages from 9-99 🙂 Today, I would like to introduce to you Sanja Blagus, she is from Croatia and just discovered paper beads!
A little bit about Sanja; she is 21 years old and she lives in East Croatia in a suburb called Sumarina, a very quiet place according to her, with beautiful skies and sunset.
Having lived in California almost all of my life, I am amazed at the contrast of summer and winter in cold places. Sanja, sent me a before and after photos of where she live.
One of her hobbies is photography and taking pictures of nature.
Now that she has been properly introduced………Here’s some of Sanja’s Paper Bead Creations.
She learned to make the paper bead flowers from one of our tutorials!
The black and white paper beads she made them from paper that she painted black and the white bead she doodled on the pages before rolling them into paper beads – what a neat idea! I thought of doing zentangles on paper and then roll them into paper beads, kind of the same concept.
For the shell pendant, she used the hot glue gun to make the shell half open like that and glued the glass pearl in the middle.
She takes pictures like I do, in my backyard around flowers and plants.

I love your beads Sanja! I thank Janice for sharing about paper beads, If it wasn’t for Janice I would have never met Sanja! We are best friends now =] and I’m very thankful to find a friend that has the same hobbies as me and a lot of other things in common with me 🙂

These pieces are lovely I especially like the one with the shells, the paper beads on it remind me of the ocean.
