D.I.Y. Bead-day 31
We debuted the D.I.Y. Bead at the C.H.A! The big saucer shaped bead that you like, primed white for you to put designs on to your heart’s content.

One of the booths at the C.H.A was demonstrating on how to apply glitter using transfers and I had them try a few of my beads.

We did several of them with different designs, how cool is that!

I particularly like the shell design, I made one into a ring, just use the glue E-600 and glued it into a ring finding.

Tomorrow is our last day at the C.H.A and I will be able to devote more time to our bead swap, yay!

I fell in love with these beads. I love the muted colors and the perfect bicone shape. These are not small, they are about 20 x 22mm made with several strips of paper to achieve the diamond or bicone shape of the bead. The colors were actually printed on the paper and I just love that idea!

They are samples from my sister and they came in a bag just like that with all the colors, I just took them and wire wrapped them to make an 18 inch necklace.

These are not your usual paper bead that are light, I guess because many strips of paper went into the making of each bead it is heavier.

Met a lot of cool people at the c.h.a. one of them is Becky of Infarrantly Creative, who stopped by our booth.

Like Chocolate Pearls-day 29
One of my my finds at a thrift store is a strand of seed beads. They are so smooth and in different odd shapes that resembles like real pearls. I am always admiring chocolate pearls in magazines and I thought if painted in something bronzy would mimic the look of chocolate pearls.

Mixed with painted saucer shaped paper beads and copper daisy spacers.

No one would argue with me if I tell them they’re chocolate pearls 🙂

Wouldn’t it be nice if you can just wear a new piece of jewelry every single day to match with your outfit? I dream of a big cabinet that would organize all my paper bead jewelry, right now they are in ziplock bags with labels on them.

Hello paper bead fanatics 🙂 Today is our first day at the C.H.A., and met so many paper bead enthusiasts, who are amazed that everything we have in our booth is made of paper! I am tired but happy, and not too tired to post a blog specially I know a few of you is checking what I made for today. To be honest, I made pieces a week in advance to prepare for the show, but has not made anything yet for Monday! We’ll see….. I always come up with something.
from the C.H.A. : Kayla and I enjoying a quiet moment, on display is our new product, painted paper beads!

Say It With Hearts-day28
The snake chain is the easiest and most simple way to display your paper beads or any big hole beads, just slide it on there, attach clasp and your done. I made this necklace in practically 10 minutes, it does not include making the paper beads of course. I got the heart charms and finding at Michael’s Arts and Crafts, now they carry a huge variety of jewelry findings and beads that will go well with your paper beads.

I love the soft green and peach color combination of the paper beads, so feminine.

Valentine’s day is around the corner and you always would want to wear something with hearts….

I also love the fact that they beads are free to move around the chain.

It is certainly something you can wear all year round.

How romantic is that?
Today, we finished (more or less) setting up our booth at the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It would be nice to share photos with attendees at our booth 🙂
