Chunky Bicones-day 30

I fell in love with these beads.  I love the muted colors and the perfect bicone shape.  These are not small, they are about 20 x 22mm made with several strips of paper to achieve the diamond  or bicone shape of the bead.  The colors were actually printed on the paper and I just love that idea!

They are samples from my sister and they came in a bag just like that with all the colors, I just took them and wire wrapped them to make an 18 inch necklace.

These are not your usual paper bead that are light, I guess because many strips of paper went into the making of each bead it is heavier.

Met a lot of cool people at the c.h.a. one of them is Becky of Infarrantly Creative, who stopped by our booth.

  1. I guess I need help with the measuring tape. I’m used to inches not mm. Can you convert this for me to give me an idea of size.
The bicone shpae makes the beads really special.

    • Cathy,

The measurement for this bead: top to bottom is 3/4 inch long and it is also 3/4 inch wide. I hope this helps. Janice
