Bicone Paper Beads
When two cones are joined together it forms a bicone shape bead. This is a very common shape in crystals specially swarovskis. These bicone shaped paper beads are two inches long, looking exactly like two cones joined together. This will be a part of our jewel tone collection, just in time for the Holidays!

I think there is about 10 people already signed up, I have not set a limit yet, maybe 25 ? I’m not sure how you would like to do it this time, do you propose to send your beads to me like before? Are we making bracelets or necklaces? I think it would be nice to make one thing, something we can wear for Thanks Giving.
Paper Bead Swap Theme – Color Of Fall
What do you think of Another Paper Bead Trade? I have been getting emails requesting for another paper bead swap. Meagan suggested a “Winter” theme read more of her comment here, I like that idea. Our First Paper Bead Swap was quite successful thanks to all of you who participated, I couldn’t have asked for a better group 🙂 While we’re at it, why not plan for two paper bead trade? One with a fall theme and one with a winter theme? Well, I will let you decide. So now, table is open for suggestions! And to get us all inspired here’s a few Fall images:

Fall colors is of course open to interpretation, for us here living in California, these are some of fall images that I see around me:

When I hear the word Fall, oranges and browns come to mind.

Yellow, greens and reds as well…

Kayla and I just like with the changing of the season, looks forward to creating jewelry that are rich in colors and what girl wouldn’t love to bring a little bling to chase the gloomy days away? Thus, came the Ideal Autumn Ring.

Tutti Frutti Necklace
Don’t ask me how I made the pendant, I was just fooling around with paper beads and wire trying to make a bracelet using the small round paper beads with craft wire, experimenting with shapes and instead came up with this – a pendant! Fancy that, from bracelet to a pendant.

If you are missing summer already I think this will keep the blues away:)

I think you can wear this all year round.

Try to see potential in everything even mistakes can turn into something extraordinary!

Paper Bead Bee Earrings
I have thought of so many things to call this pair of buzzers:) The Buzz, Bee Spectacular, Bees On My Ears, I hear a buzzing sound….the minute Kayla and I saw these bee beads we couldn’t wait to fashion wings and antenna for it. The technique? Free form wire wrap! Meaning, no pattern just do spirals and coils and let imagination take over.

The bead itself is made out of scrap book paper, I guess the other thing you can do is just make it from one strip of plain paper and paint it yellow and black.

I used 24 gauge craft wire for the wings and antennae

This is one bee I don’t mind buzzing on my ears 🙂

Important Announcement: Cathy, you won the Graduated Turtle Bracelet giveaway. If you are reading this, please email me your address so I can send it to you. Should we have another paper bead swap? Any ideas?
