This is necklace is made with just the tiny paper beads in random colors, no spacers or crystals to distract from the beauty of the beads that came straight from magazine pages!

Rings Of Saturn Bracelets – day 100

Posted on Apr 10, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 5 comments

I love the rings around these beads and to think that these are not painted on, but the true color of the magazine.  We were lucky to get a few strands of these ringed beads and they make nice bracelets.

blog1

These are very simple to make and for accent we just added daisy spacers.

blog2

I love the magenta and chocolate together.

Golden Lantern Earrings – day 99

Posted on Apr 9, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 3 comments

I was watching Tangled the other day with Lana and these pair of earrings pretty much remind me of Rapunzel’s floating lanterns.  I crocheted 28 gauge wire threaded with tiny round paper beads.

These will light up your face as it floats on your ears 🙂

I love tangled effect of the crocheted wire.

Big Bold Bicones

Posted on Apr 9, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 3 comments

These big bicone paper beads are made using several strips of paper, pretty much the same way that the saucer shape beads are made.  They are so smooth and nice to the touch, they look like wood beads only more vibrant in colors!

I’m sure you are familiar with the Gaelic style of weaving beads, the same technique is used here using a matching gold leather and silk cord.

blog2

One of my finds is a big brass vintage button that just go perfectly, don’t you think?
