Wire crochet is not as intimidating as it sounds.  You can wire crochet beads by learning just one stitch – chain stitch and make beautiful jewelry with it.  Here’s one I did using extra small (5mm) round paper beads in beautiful red and white.  We also have them available as a kit and I have a tutorial on this.

Here’s a video on how-to:

The Final Step:

The materials you need:

  1. I fully agree with Elim and Deb! your explanations are very clear! thank you Janice!
Deb has a good idea with the granny square! it must be so nice!!
    bisous, Manou.

  2. Thank-You so much for doing this video Janice! Your instructions are very clear, great closeups of your hands, and slow enough for me to understand! I have to also say whoever is taking these videos is also doing a great job too! I’m so excited to try this! Thanks!

  3. Wow I gotta try this I love to crochet! I was thinking of making a mini grannysquare as earrings and made them look like a diamond shape with a bead in the middle

    • Great idea Elim! I’m going to try that too, it will look great specially with the colorful wires. Janice
