The diamond shape paper beads are perfect for the Gaelic Weave design which is quite popular nowadays.  I used red leather and coordinating red silk cord to tie it around the leather.

Big Bold Bicones

These big bicone paper beads are made using several strips of paper, pretty much the same way that the saucer shape beads are made.  They are so smooth and nice to the touch, they look like wood beads only more vibrant in colors!

I’m sure you are familiar with the Gaelic style of weaving beads, the same technique is used here using a matching gold leather and silk cord.

Paper Bead Buttons – day 89

The smaller version of the Saucer Shaped Beads are what I call button beads.  They are easily transformed into button with simple wire coils that is not only functional but decorative as well!
