I finally figured out how to wire wrapped a pearl pendant in the shape of a cross. It was quite a bit of a challenge because the holes ran diagonally instead of top to bottom. I took apart a necklace I purchased earlier at a thrift shop that had these bead caps made our of shell. I wire wrapped each bead to each other and the bead caps are just perfect for the paper bead holes. The paper beads I used for this necklace are small round ones and have a nice apple green color.
Here’s a video on how to do a basic wire loop with bead caps.
I have these earrings in a different kind of green, I think goes very well with it.
The basic wire loop is not that complicated and you will be an expert in a few hours of practice.
I gotta question. how many mm are the metal bead caps from the video tutorial and how many mm are the daisy spacer beads at the bottom of the earrings? thanks..
Hi Elim,
The daisy spacers and the bead caps are both 5mm. Janice
