Ever Green Watch – day 183
The next five posts will be all about beaded watches. This will be part of our new accessories collection using, paper beads. There are watch faces of all kinds that you can find everywhere, they come in all shapes, sizes and colors and they’re great with paper beads.
Coordinating seed beads the color of ever green brought out the subtle green hue of the paper beads.
Paper Bead Bangle – day 182
I make one or two things each day and when I am in that “create, create, create” mood, 5 pieces or more. Paper bead jewelry ideas are endless! The Paper Bead Bangle is my favorite, it is something that I can just grab and go and it completes my out fit. It is easy to put on because of the magnetic clasp and for those of you who worries that it may fall off I attached a safety chain:)
I used 22 gauge wire to string the paper beads and wrapped the wire once in between beads and around each bead. I have tutorial on how to make this, please look under tutorial if you are interested in how to make one.
Paper Marbles – day181
I love the colors and the shape of these marbled beads, they feel like marbles only lighter! The simple wire wrap to encase the beads are the perfect accent, no need for filler beads.
I always favor the big and chunky jewelry, this makes this bracelet my favorite!
Chocolate Diamonds – day 180
Diamond Shaped Paper Beads painted a rich chocolate brown is beautifully displayed as earrings with a little wood bead as accent. I love the versatility of paper beads; magazine colors or paint it with whatever color your heart desires 🙂
Gold and chocolate makes you ready to welcome fall!
Merry Mix Necklace – day 178
I put together the Merry Mix Necklace from our Assorted Beads Bag and it came out really pretty mixed with left over beads; pearls, crystals and gem stones.
This is a very simple project using your basic wire wrap or just use rosary loops instead. Go ahead and try it, you will be very happy with the result 🙂
