Hi everyone, this is my first blog entry on PaperBeads.org. Janice asked me to step in and cover for her, since she’s busy working the room at the California Gift Show in Los Angeles. And I’m sure many of you are wondering where the heck she’s been! Well, a lot is going on for Janice these days. As you may know, Janice was recently invited to appear on JTV (Jewelry TV) for a second show! I thought she did really well in her 1st 15 minutes of fame go around, and it looks like I’m not alone – JTV seems to really like her too! So set your dial for JTV on Thur, Aug 4 – and watch the celebrity princess do her thing!
(Oh yeah, just so you know Janice is alive and well – here’s a picture she just sent me from the show.)

Read MoreAptly called the Shaker Bracelet Watch or Cha- Cha Bracelet, it is a fun and playful watch and definitely showing your green side with green beads 🙂

Instantly lift your mood with this watch 🙂

Part of my paper bead collection are teal color paper beads that reminds you of the ocean and summer…….the warm tones of the rainbow agate brought out the turquoisy color of the paper beads, don’t you think?

Technique used in making the elastic watches is crimping the elastic. It gives it a more secure and clean finish.

I had fun making these beaded watches, they are not only pretty but functional as well. The other thing I like about these inexpensive watches is that they are easy to maintain, batteries are available at your local craft stores.

What a great idea for Christmas presents!
