Jingle, Jangle

If you have the patience to make really small paper beads, then this project is for you 🙂  Each of the tiny paper beads, about 4-5mm in size is put through a jump ring then connected to the chain to make these beautiful set that jingles and jangles when you wear them.

Paper Bead Necklace and Bracelet

I tried it on, and the bead feels so nice to the touch you cannot help but play with them.

  1. Janice how do you make them water resistant?

    • Hi Christine,

It will be in future posts. I am going to be introducing a new product, called Vibrance.

  2. I would like instructions on how to make this beauty.

  3. Hello! I just got my bamboo bead roller and it’s great! I made myself an elastic bracelet You can see it here. http://sodevious.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/DSCN5530.jpg

The only thing is that I have trouble making the extra small beads, because when I glaze it, the bead sticks to the toothpick. What can I do so that this doesn’t happen? Thanks!

    • Hi Nicole,

It would also help if you dip the toothpick you are using in vaseline or wax. I am going to be introducing a glaze soon called Vibrance that is not a glue, milky white liquid and makes it easy to remove the beads. Thank you for stopping by and the mention in your blog.

  4. This is an awesome idea! Did you chainmaille the chain yourself or is the chain already pre-made? Also what size jump rings did you use? I Love this idea!

    • Hi Deb,

No, we did not make the chainmaille it is just regular silver chain and the jump ring is about 8mm, you just need to try them on your beads for a fit.
