Brass Findings- day24

The dollar store is a great place to find jewelry components that you can take apart and use for paper bead jewelry making.  You need to be able to look at something and imagine how it will look like after it has been “rehabilitated”, like this one:

Kayla and I were so happy to see all the cones and what we can do with it 🙂

Olive shaped beads painted with old rose color nail polish are peeking out from the cones like buds.  Glass flowers  are added into the mix.

Now, all we need are earrings.  Let’s see what we can come up with the left over cones.

  1. wow that is soo cute! i would have never imagined it was made from parts bought from a dollar store.

  2. I love this!! I need to find some cones now :)! Julie, what is ‘OOAK’ ?

the old pink and bronze are the two colors that match perfectly to this cluster of flowers with buds that feels like spring! very, very beautiful colors ….

  6. This is so cute. I don’t go to Thrift Stores much anymore, due to a lack of time, but this sure makes me re-think my priorities. It came out very pretty.
