You know how it is hard to make jewelry for men?  Not only is it hard to come up with the “look”,  it is not fun working with dark colors.  Well, I saw these black round paper beads with muted magazine colors and it inspired me to make a gentleman’s bracelet.  This was not an easy task but here it is:

I picked and chose the more black ones what was left from the strand of beads are lighter in colors.  Of course there is the option of painting them black.

I use 1.5mm leather and just did a simple macrame weaving with a button closure, I have a tutorial on this using hemp cord.

My hubby agreed to model it for me 🙂

  1. I like this one the leather cording and large dark beads give it a manly look.

  2. I really like this. It looks masculine.

  3. I agree with you on trying to find jewelry designs to make for men, however you did a great job on this one. I can also see you painting the beads as well.
