A Paper Bead Torsade Tutorial

I found that the best way to make a torsade necklace is with 28 gauge craft wire.  The hard part would be deciding on the color and pattern but this could be fun as well.  This is the second torsade necklace I made with the olive shaped paper beads so far, I would love to try them out in other shapes and mix them with other kind of beads.  I strung 6 18 inch strands of paper beads and, seed beads and fire polished crystals on a 28-30 inch craft wire.

    Hi Stace,

I haven gotten requests and I am coming up with the tutorial, just a matter of figuring out a way for the tutorial to be short and understandable. For now, you need to find or purchase a ring finding with one loop or loops, this is where you attach the bead dangles, 26 gauge craft wire or any wire you have I guess will work, just for wrapping around the base of the ring to make it stand up and also 1 1/2 inch head pins preferable 22 gauge, spacers and 4mm bicone crystals. I promise to come up with the tutorial next week on or before Friday. Thanks, fearlessly crafting. Janice Mae
