Paper Bead Trade Raffle Drawing
The Paper Bead Trade has come to an end, and it was such a nice experience – my very first Bead Trade. In one of my posts I ask if there’s anybody who would be interested in hosting the next trade and I got an email from Karina, she has some neat ideas and a very cool theme, so why not? Now that everybody’s got the paper bead fever…….in the mean time, Kayla, myself and my baby grand daughter Lana celebrated the end of the Paper Bead Trade by wearing our “thrifted tiaras” (soon will be on my etsy).
Here are the paper bead bracelet prizes:
Diamond shape paper beads are mixed with seed beads with an om gold color charm
Paper Beads from participants are combined in this yummy colored bracelet
These are the black beads I made from earlier post, mixed with India glass:
Liz, Deb and Patricia, Congratulations!
Upcoming Posts: How To Make a Paper Bead Ball, Jingle and Jangle Bracelet, Paper Bead Rosaries and the Pasadena Bead and Design Show. Have a wonderful, Tiara filled days weekend 🙂
More Paper Bead Creations
Our feature for today are the handiwork of Ashley and Emily! It is exciting to me seeing the different things that “Paper Beaders”, (I think from now on this is what I would call anybody who is into making paper beads, agreed?) 🙂 , made out of their kit. So, here’s what I got for you today.
Emily combined her new found hobby of making chain mail with the paper beads and it came our really nice, sort of Gothic, I think.
I love how different color of paper beads are woven into this flower pendant
Last but not least, is from Ashley. She made a bracelet and earrings set, I think she is a budding photographer, it is so clever how she displayed her work in a glass of water, the blue straw is just the perfect contrast.
I am working on a video for the raffle drawing, I am trying to get a “special guest” draw the names from the Paper Bead Trade Participants. There will be three prices that is going to be drawn, and it can be you!
Paper Bead Trade Creations
We have concluded the Paper Bead Trade and I’d say that it was successful because of all the nice people who participated, who stayed committed to the project with enthusiasm and genuine interest in each others work. We have somehow came to know each other here. Here’s some of beautiful creations from Elim, Liz, Deina and Claire.
Elim, made necklace and earrings set, you can check out her paper bead charm bracelet here.
Liz, made earrings. I love the clear crystal and dark pink with gold combination. Definitely wearable.
Claire also made necklace and earrings, and you can find more of her creations on her blog:

I hope everyone had an inspiring weekend!
I must say, another day of turning trash to treasure.
Simple is Beautiful
Hello paper bead traders 🙂 Your kits were all sent out; paper beads, beads, elastic, ring and earring findings, and what goes on in your mind is hmmm, what to do with it. My suggestion; keep it simple. It is quite a challenge to design something when you have these different kinds of paper beads, from the Paper Bead Soup remember? The best thing to do, is just string a simple bracelet, this is our first Paper Bead Trade after all. I made the black paper beads painted with pink nail polish and mixed it with few paper beads from you guys. Kayla made very simple but beautiful set of elastic bracelets.
They look very summery and yummery 🙂
It started out like this, with a few beads added
Beauty in Simplicity!
Put on the Creating Hat or Tiara and start creating…..making…..sharing…….laughing……..and loving every minute of it!
