Paper beads and India glass go so well together! The deep colors of the India glass echoes the vibrant colors of the paper beads. We keep going back to the versatility of the long necklace like the Candy Mix Necklace.

You can make it long enough so that it can be wind around your wrist many times.

After all accessories is everything 😉

….. and the menu for today: Citrus colors in olive shape paper beads! I love the melange of orange, lime greens and yellows that made up this three strand bracelet.

Just perfect for summer time don’t you think?

One of the things I love to do is sharing the work of other paper bead fanatic. Today, we have Jane McBride, she loves experimenting with them and here is the outcome:

Paper Beads cut with pinking shears
The look like pineapples don’t you think? I also love the way Jane made earrings out of the saucer shape beads, very designer like 🙂 What a neat idea!

Jane made this saucer or button bead with a small opening for the jump ring to go in, how ingenious! I would love to try this.

If you want to share your work please email me in the Contact Us link, we would love to see it.
Read MoreThis three strand necklace are done in three different tube shape paper beads; one inch, 3/4 inch and half inch.

Variation: Try using scrap book paper in bright summery colors.

When you get a batch of the same issue old magazines or catalogs you will be able to make beads that are similar in pattern and color and then, you can make a set of necklace and bracelet pretty much like this one.

I used small button beads as the focal beads for the necklace.
