I have made quite a few watches and this one is my favorite. I ended up keeping it for myself because it fits me perfectly, love the colors and I got tons of compliments:) This is very easy to make, and I meant it!

I think the hardest part is finding the right watch face, let me know if I can be of help, I got connections 🙂

I wear this everyday! I know that when the battery runs out I can just replace it myself and if something happens to the band, it can easily be replaced with new beads.

Gisela is one paper bead fan who perfected the art of making paper beads. I just love and admire her work, she knows which paper to use and how to get the desired color from the magazine pages or whatever kind of paper she is using to the finished bead. You will be inspired by what you see here:)

I love the earth tone color of these beads.

These are barrel type beads with large holes perfect for leather cords.

I love the print on this long tubes, they are like little paintings, don’t you think?

I never thought mixing lavender and green….

Perfect tube beads!

Gisela, mixed the earth tone color beads with seed beads, love the organic look!

Thanks Gisela for sharing your beautiful work 🙂

An easy, elegant way to frame a cabochon or in this case the large saucer shaped beads is wire crochet. The wire just conforms to the shape of the bead nicely, easy to manipulate to capture the cab or the bead. The Crocheted Medallion is even more beautiful when accented with the crocheted wire.

The words that come to my mind to describe this: unique, one of a kind, conversation piece…….

My last visit to jtv, I got the chance of meeting Anne Dilker, the Kamikaze of Kumhimo as she is aptly described by Kim the energetic host of jewel school. If you know me, I try to incorporate paper beads into everything. I had fun making this Purple Pendant, but then I love anything in shades of purple:)

I think I did a tutorial about this from a home made kuhihimo disc. I love the fact that you can bead the braid itself and it is a mindless task, something that you can do while watching tv or traveling.

First of all I want to thank, Claire, Manou, Denise, Deb, Diane and Ann on the creative ideas on what to do with the Matryoshka paper bead dolls! You have great ideas ladies and I will probably be making all of them in the future. Since, I can only do one thing at a time I picked out Claire’s suggestion on what to make with them. Claire said:” I think of a bracelet made from a chain, with matrioshka paper beads dangling like charms…simple but pretty and you could see well those cuties” Here they are dangling like charms displaying all their pretty faces as a Pin:)

You put this on you and you don’t only make yourself smile others too who will find these cuties just adorable!

Note: Hi Claire, please email me your address so I can send you two of the dolls. You won!!!!
