Beaded Hoop Earrings – day 212

Posted on Oct 5, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 1 comment

One can never tire of wearing hoop earrings.  You collect them in all size and shapes.  The extra small paper beads are great for projects like this Beaded Hoop earrings.  I was thinking of something that can go from day to night, so I added some sparkles to it.

You want your beads to be preserved forever?  Showcase them in metal findings and set them with resin or diamond glaze.  This way you can admire and your beads and it hides whatever flaws they may have.  But then again, I always say that flaws give a piece character because nobody is perfect right?

Beaded Bead – day 210

This is one of those projects where I was not sure what the outcome would be.  I was pleasantly surprised with the result!  It very much resembles like a crown, don’t you think?  The inner bead is also a paper bead and I beaded around it with tiny paper beads.

Mixed Media is popular now a days; mixing paper, fabric, wood, plastic, metal, polymer clay, resin, glass or any found objects give your piece the one of a kind look.  I love mixing any of these materials it gives freedom to imagination.  Most importantly, found objects and other natural materials is what goes well with paper beads.
