Part of the joy in creating something is overcoming challenges along the way. I love long necklaces because you have more than one option in wearing it and great for layering, mixing and matching…..You know how I love incorporating pearls and crystals to my jewelry pieces, this is exactly what I did with this Long and Luxurious Necklace.

Here is a short tutorial on how to wrap a briolet.
Here’s the more than one way you can wear it:

Lariat

I made a removable charm that can be attached to the lobster claw clasp so you can wear it as a lariat. It made my day when I fixed the problem of the one end of the necklace looking unfinished.

Bead caps are great with paper beads, or any other kind of beads, they are perfect accents that gives a finished look to your projects. I used green colored paper beads that are about 7mm in size. What I did, is put them on head pins with simple top loop. I strung them on longer head pins with a lemon colored crystal first.

They are just mouthwatering don’t you think?

I hate making excuses for not posting so I’m not going to. I hate making promises I couldn’t keep either. All I can say, is that my passion for making paper beads and turning them into beautiful jewelry has not abated. I still sleep thinking paper beads and wake up full of ideas and enthusiasm. I am glad that you share this passion with me. Lately, I have been swamped with a lot of work but it is all good. Thank you for your daily visits, it is very much appreciated!- Janice

I must admit, these earrings are not for the faint of heart. I made them out of the 2 1/2 inch memory wire. The olive shaped paper beads and small round beads are just the perfect size beads for earrings.

I added fine silver chains to give it movement. I love big earrings and this is definitely one that I can wear, especially I cut my hair really short.

Here I am wearing it 🙂

I thought I will do a post on something Valentine(y). I caught the “Bibs” fever lately and couldn’t stop making them! It’s like piecing a puzzle together using paper beads, or a mosaic.

Special Announcement: I am going back to Jewelry Television with a new kit and a “how to make” the beaded bib on January 12th (Thursday) 8:00 pacific or go to JTV.COM for schedule. I hope to see you there!
