This three strand necklace are done in three different tube shape paper beads; one inch, 3/4 inch and half inch.

Variation:  Try using scrap book paper in bright summery colors.

When you get a batch of the same issue old magazines or catalogs you will be able to make beads that are similar in pattern and color and then, you can make a set of necklace and bracelet pretty much like this one.

I used small button beads as the focal beads for the necklace.

These fun Nested Rings, is my version  of the meshed earrings I made which has become quite popular.  They are are just like little pop corn balls but so much prettier:)

I form them into balls by crocheting the beads and wire wrapping them together.

These are turtles are “rescued” from a bracelet bought at a thrift store.  The tube paper beads has the deeper blue swirls or should I say swells because this whole piece just reminds me of the beach and the ocean.

I love the meaning and symbolism behind the turtle, that of longevity, patience and long life.
