An Inspiring Bloom-day 47
The paper bead cones are one of my favorites but it is sometimes hard to come up with designs using them. Sometimes, you have to think outside the box. Aside from wire wrapping them, what else you can do with them? First, I wire wrapped them together and glued them using E-6000 to a brooch finding.

In the center of the bloom is a flat carnelian bead, also attached with wire.

I have a tutorial on how to make the cone shaped paper beads please check it out under tutorials. A fresh take on flower petals 🙂

A Spray Of Gray – day 46
When I get a shipment of beads from Philippines, I would sort through them and admire the colors and get to pick out the beads that goes to my collection of paper beads. The muted color of greyish, taupy color of these beads caught my attention amidst the brightly color ones.

The gray is accented with splash of orange and black.

All from the pages of old magazines!

A Purple Heart- day 45
A heart does not have to be red all the time, right? I love the predominantly purple(ish) color of this glass heart pendant. To make it even more special, I added painted bicone shaped paper beads to match to complement the colors.

What do you do when you have a focal bead and you don’t have the necessary components to go with it? Paint the beads!

It is something that you can wear everyday not just on Valentine’s Day. Happy Valentine’s!

Painted Saucer Bead- day 44
To paint of not to paint……….Here is another version of the saucer shaped bead painted with Philippine Scene; sunsets and coconut trees! What more could you ask for?

A coiled 20 gauge wire is not only functional but a pretty addition to the pendant.

White olive shaped paper beads is the perfect back drop.
