Beaded Bead – day 210
This is one of those projects where I was not sure what the outcome would be. I was pleasantly surprised with the result! It very much resembles like a crown, don’t you think? The inner bead is also a paper bead and I beaded around it with tiny paper beads.
Befitting a Paper Bead Princess 🙂
Paper Cocoon Ornament – day 209
The paper cocoons that we make like the paper bead saucers have amazing colors, showing off beautifully the magazine patterns and coloration. Since Christmas is just around the corner I thought that they are great as Christmas Ornaments.
I will definitely hang some up on my Christmas tree this year 🙂
Mixed Media Links – day 208
Mixed Media is popular now a days; mixing paper, fabric, wood, plastic, metal, polymer clay, resin, glass or any found objects give your piece the one of a kind look. I love mixing any of these materials it gives freedom to imagination. Most importantly, found objects and other natural materials is what goes well with paper beads.
It is a wood bead covered with an old Merriam Webster’s Dictionary and wrapped with non tarnished gold wire.
It is something that you can incorporate with any of your creation, for example these vintage red beads…..
Crocheted Chic Choker – day 207
This is another version of wired paper bead flower motif in my earlier post. It is more like a 3D flower because the petals can be adjusted to have it flat or standing up. The extra small paper beads are so versatile in projects like this, they are easy to manipulate and they can take on any form or shape.
I also made one with a bail using the same beads, you can put it on leather or ribbon, either way it will look pretty!
