With all the different kinds of paper that are out there, paper bead making has possibilities that are just endless. Do you collect paper like I do? Here is one that I find at a local art shop, black poster paper that has crater like texture to it.
Here is the close up of it:
I cut the whole length of the paper with a base of one inch and here is the result: lava bead!
I thought the painted red saucer beads would be a good mix.
I was going for big and bold and Asian inspired.
I incorporated onyx bead, some coral bead and gold bali beads to complete that Asian look.
Just the way I like it: big and bold 🙂
ooohhh …!!! she is very pretty this black pearl! I like it! I also must try to do, if I find a similar paper … (Crochet beads are fun!)
bisous,Manou.
That makes a very interesting bead! I really like that.
really astonishing !
I’ve just mailed you my painted beads, I hope you get them in time…
Very pretty. I love the big beads.
I love these. You also put it together very nicely. How easy is it to work with the textured paper? I tried some once and I found it very hard to find a way to mark, cut and roll the paper. You are so right. The possibilities of paper beads are unlimited.
