An easy, elegant way to frame a cabochon or in this case the large saucer shaped beads is wire crochet. The wire just conforms to the shape of the bead nicely, easy to manipulate to capture the cab or the bead. The Crocheted Medallion is even more beautiful when accented with the crocheted wire.
The words that come to my mind to describe this: unique, one of a kind, conversation piece…….
yes, the bead cabochons or saucer bead shape, or any other form of paper bead, can be highlighted perfectly with this method! beautiful … I like so more the crochet wire!!
