Beaded Kumihimo – day 196
My last visit to jtv, I got the chance of meeting Anne Dilker, the Kamikaze of Kumhimo as she is aptly described by Kim the energetic host of jewel school. If you know me, I try to incorporate paper beads into everything. I had fun making this Purple Pendant, but then I love anything in shades of purple:)
I think I did a tutorial about this from a home made kuhihimo disc. I love the fact that you can bead the braid itself and it is a mindless task, something that you can do while watching tv or traveling.

Carnelian is one of my favorite gem stones most specially for the fall season because of the orange, gold and brown tones to it. No gem stones is safe with me when it comes to mixing it with paper beads 🙂 I combined everything that I love in this piece: carnelian, crochet and paper beads.
Different? One of a kind? Wearable? Definitely!
Golden Lantern Earrings – day 99
I was watching Tangled the other day with Lana and these pair of earrings pretty much remind me of Rapunzel’s floating lanterns. I crocheted 28 gauge wire threaded with tiny round paper beads.
These will light up your face as it floats on your ears 🙂
I love tangled effect of the crocheted wire.

I made a black lace cuff which I just sold on etsy, The Gold Lace Cuff is just another version of it, made from bright gold wire. Small round paper beads are crocheted with 28 gauge craft wire.
Artistic Wire came up with different gorgeous colors like magenta, silver blue, brown, purple….
Lacy and very feminine!
