Little Christmas Trees

Posted on Nov 15, 2009 in Paper Bead Creations | 2 comments

I have received these Cone Shaped paper beads the other day and it took me a few days to come up with something.  Here is what I came up with today; little Christmas trees that can decorate a mantle or miniature Christmas village.

The materials I used are: 22 gauge craft wire, bead cap (for the tree top) and 4mm swarovski crystals.

I always have a hard time taking step by step photos for a how-to tutorial, the video is still the best way to give a tutorial, don’t you think so?  Please email me or leave me a comment if it’s worth doing a video tutorial for this piece.  I’m sure if you are already into jewelry-making you can figure it out by just looking at the photos here and the materials I used which I mentioned above.

Paper and Pearls Three Strand Necklace

Posted on May 23, 2009 in Paper Bead Creations | Comments Off on Paper and Pearls Three Strand Necklace

Paper beads and glass pearls make such an elegant combination.  The unique color of the paper beads used for this project, which is an off white or beige color  about 7mm in size (Buy Paper Beads) combined with swarovski glass pearls and pink seed beads, look so feminine together.

The paper beads have bigger holes and would need spacers like silver spacers, metal beads or seed beads in size 80 or 60.

This can also be made in a single strand or two strand with different color seed beads.

Paper Beads and Crystals

Posted on May 21, 2009 in Paper Bead Creations | Comments Off on Paper Beads and Crystals

I find that crystals goes well with paper beads.  We are totally committed to making elegant paper beads jewelry and mixing it with swarovskis and firepolished crystals make it sparkle and can be worn with dressy attire.  The crystals come in birth stone colors and so does the firepolished and they are less expensive.  The paper beads used in these projects are 4-7 mm in size (aubreysbeads.com), they are well made and perfectly shaped.

These are smaller paper beads about 4 – 5 mm in size (aubreysbeads.com) and so I paired it with 3 mm size swarovski crystals, it came out really elegant and the Om pendant (aubreysbeads.com) makes it more meaningful.
