Swirls Of Magenta – day 58
Here is day 58, I could not believe I am on day 58 already. The beads used in this necklace are made of several tightly rolled strips of paper and painted by hand!
They are so pretty by itself does not need any other kind of adornment. I place white seed beads in between to give an illusion of knots in between.
Definitely can go from bedroom to board room 🙂 Hmmm, just created a new line of jewelry…….
I did not realize I missed day 58 in my posts, Oooops!

The beads are connected using rosary loops.
Some greens, blues, grays and browns……

When I get a shipment of beads from Philippines, I would sort through them and admire the colors and get to pick out the beads that goes to my collection of paper beads. The muted color of greyish, taupy color of these beads caught my attention amidst the brightly color ones.

The gray is accented with splash of orange and black.

All from the pages of old magazines!

Swirly Medallion – day 43
Several strips of paper went into the making of the saucer shaped bead. You can see the true color of the magazine pages, creating beautiful swirls of colors.

Wire wrapped into a pendant.

The simplicity of the piece, makes it open for layering with other chains
