Plantation Bay Necklace -day 97
These necklaces fashioned from saucer and bicone shaped paper beads will make you feel like you are living a life of leisure. I can imagine this with jeans or maxi dress and can be worn when you are by the pool entertaining guests or just want to look “put together” as you run around doing your errands.
True magazine colors!
I feel so proud of these beads, definitely wearable.
I love mixing them with wood beads, they go so well together don’t you think?
Coiled Bead Cuff – day 87
This is one of our “Bead Rehab” project where Kayla replaced the silk flower with our Saucer Shaped Bead. I like the “designer” look on this piece and the clean and sleek finish.
We just got the New Saucer Shapes and we are absolutely loving them!
Much as I love the painted beads, the true magazine colors are captivating, don’ t you think?
Totally hand made, that requires patience and time 🙂
Layer, Stack Together – day 60
Diamond shape paper beads in magazine colors are mixed with heshi in this necklace which is meant to be layered. Just like the stacking rings, you can certainly wear two or three at the same time.
I love making these, because they are so simple to do. All you need is medium beading wire, crimp beads and magnetic clasp.
Here it is, stacked with the coral and round paper beads.
I promise I will do a tutorial so you can see how easy they are to make 🙂

Sanja is one of our readers who like me, takes pleasure in taking pictures of her finished paper beads outside, in her garden. As you know, outside in natural day light is the best way to take photos of your jewelry. Sanja made these paper beads out of garden magazines and they came out really pretty, hell000 summer!
Sanja’s other hobby is photography, you can tell she’s having fun with these 🙂 Daisies are such happy flowers, don’t you think?
This bracelet was inspired by one of our tutorials. I wish I have her hands 🙂
I remember Kayla cut out flowers from one of her mother’s garden magazines and made it into earrings.
She also love incorporating shells into her jewelry making, you can read more about it here. The long three strand necklace held by shells is a nice way to use the long paper bead tubes.
I can almost smell the ocean with these colors
I consider this Design Idea # 4 🙂 You can substitute the shells with a 3 strand finding and you don’t even need a clasp, this will just go over your head. She certainly looks fetching don’t you think? Do you have a beach wedding to go to? This would just be perfect!
Any suggestions for Design Idea # 5? It would be greatly appreciated. If you do, just hit the Contact Me link on your right hand side.

Tomorrow, is our last day for the Paper Bead Trade, we have about 20 participants right now that includes me (just providing the filler beads and findings), Kayla and my sister Joann.
