I found this egg shaped ceramic among my stash of beads and it reminds me of hand painted egg, paired with petite egg shaped paper beads in delicious colors and you have a necklace that wouldn’t just look good for Easter but through out the year. I took pictures of it at the backyard when I remember hiding eggs in there, now the kids are grown and I missed the egg hunting and the enjoyable task of egg painting and hiding little presents in them. Like they say, one door closes and another one opens, I found out that I am going to be a grandmother soon, by September to be exact. In two years I will have a little one egg hunting in our back yard again. In the meantime, here’s the Easter Egg Necklace in Paper Beads. Happy Easter everyone!

I have been experimenting on different types of top coats for the paper beads to make it glossy and take on a hard shape and glass like appearance. I found that Diamond Glaze which is mainly use for setting pictures into photo charms is a good medium to coat your paper beads. It is a water based dimensional glue and dries quickly. We have a video on how to apply it to your beads.
