The color of nature is what inspires this triple strand necklace.  The czeck glass beads is what inspired this piece, it just picks up every color of the paper beads.

This will also look good with bigger paper beads paired with bigger crystals!

Capped Torsade – day 162

Posted on Jun 16, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 2 comments

I love taking the small tube beads or what I call the olive shape beads and string them into wire and twist them into a torsade or as a choker.  We did not put any beads with it, the only accent for this piece is the golden bead caps and the matching chain.

What a perfect accent to a plain white shirt 🙂

Free Form Peyote – day 160

Posted on Jun 15, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 2 comments

I came across Cheri’s work of fromoutofthecracks through etsy.  I was mesmerized with what she does with free form peyote.  You know how I loved anything free form.  I then requested for her to custom make for me some with paper beads in it.  Here is the three bracelets Cheri did for me with paper beads in it.

If you went to her site, her pieces are just gorgeous!  Even more special with paper beads, don’t you think?

Here’s my version of it.  I made mine a little bit more feminine and delicate.

I have found a very simple easy to understand tutorial on free form peyote whimbeads.com, I’d say give it a try, it is so much fun!

Flower Power – day 158

Posted on Jun 7, 2011 in 365 Paper Bead Creations | 3 comments

The red painted paper beads goes so well with brass colored components like the Flower Filigree Earrings.  This piece offers a big and chunky look but very feminine because of the filigree style of the flower motif.

I would say that this is an all year round pair don’t you think?  Wear it with white in summer time, cardigans in fall and turtle neck or red sweater during the Holidays.
